Monthly Member Meeting...

February 23rd , 2015: 7:00pm
Location: Prairie Commons Library (Large room)
915 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, MO 63042
Demonstration: Abstract Expressionism with Timothy Wagner

St Louis native, Timothy Wagner began painting in elementary school and developed a unique abstract style by high school. On his travels to the West and Europe, he would always have a sketchbook handy to record landscapes and shapes of interest. He uses acrylic, latex and oil in his works, but also works in a mixed media format using stains, paper, ink and other materials.
He has exhibited both nationally and internationally and continues to market his work through collaboration projects and live art by request. Timothy graduated from Webster University in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Art. In 2010, Timothy participated in the Indonesian study-abroad program for artists. While in Indonesia, he immersed himself in the country's rich culture to create work inspired by Indonesian art and design, culminating in an art exhibition in one of Jakarta's top galleries. Since 2009, Timothy has worked as a direct support professional supporting adults with developmental disabilities though art therapy.
